Government auditor CAG has criticised Coal India Ltd for significant delays in its 3,000 MW solar power project development. By December 2024, only 122.492 MW had been installed, a mere 4.08% of the target. CAG urges Coal India to expedite these projects to achieve Net Zero energy status.
