Adani Group will invest 630 billion rupees in Assam. This includes a large coal-fired power plant and pumped storage projects. The coal plant is expected to begin operations in phases from December 2030. This marks a significant increase in private investment for new coal power projects in India. Adani Green Energy also plans substantial investments in renewables.
