GAIL (India) has received five proposals from US companies for equity stakes in their LNG projects, each tied to long-term LNG supply contracts. This initiative aims to secure 1 million tonnes per annum of LNG for 15 years, with potential extensions, targeting shipments starting in 2029-30.
