Adani Power has secured a bid to supply 1500 MW of thermal power to Uttar Pradesh, offering a competitive tariff of Rs 5.383 per unit. The company will establish a 2×800 MW ultra-supercritical power plant under a DBFOO model, with operations expected to commence by FY30. Adani Power plans to invest $2 billion in the project, generating thousands of jobs.
