Grid Controller of India Ltd has alerted regional power centers for a civil defence drill. The drill is scheduled for Wednesday in 244 districts. Critical grid parameters will be closely monitored. Proactive actions are suggested to maintain permissible loading limits. The drill includes crash blackout measures in selected districts. Adequate power reserves and backup systems are to be ensured.
