Power giant NTPC is set to expand its capacity to 244 gigawatts by 2037. This ambitious roadmap requires an investment of Rs 7 lakh crore. The company is exploring energy storage, pumped storage, nuclear power, green hydrogen, and chemicals. NTPC currently meets one-fourth of India’s electricity demand. This expansion will further bolster the nation’s power generation capabilities.
